Chief Justice’s Practice Direction 1 of 2020 on

Court Operations during the 21-day National Shutdown

The Chief Justice yesterday issued the following self-explanatory Practice Direction effective from today, Monday 30th March 2020 and until Sunday 19th April, unless earlier extended.

SI 2020-083 Public Health (COVID-19 Prevention, Containment and Treatment) (National Lockdown) Order, 2020

THE Minister of Health, in terms of section 8(1) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Prevention, Containment and Treatment) Regulations, 2020 (published as Statutory Instrument 77 of 2020), and in consultation with the President, makes the following order:—

SI 2020-082 Public Health (COVID-19 Prevention, Containment and Treatment) (Amendment) Regulations, 2020 (No. 1)

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Health has, in terms of section 68 of the Public Health Act [Chapter 15:17], made the following regulations:—
1. These regulations may be cited as the Public Health (COVID-19 Prevention, Containment and Treatment) (Amendment) Regulations, 2020 (No. 1).

SI 2020-081 Labour Relations (Specification of Minimum Wages) (Amendment) Notice, 2020 (No. 15)

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare, in terms of section 20 of the Labour Act [Chapter 28:01], has made the following notice:—

SI 2020-072 Parks and Wild Life (Specially Protected Animals) (Amendment of the Sixth Schedule to the Act) Notice, 2020

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Environment, Climate, Tourism and Hospitality Industry has, in terms of section 43 of the Parks and Wild Life Act [Chapter 20:14], amended the Sixth Schedule to the Act as follows:—
1. These regulations may be cited as the Parks and Wild Life (Specially Protected Animals) (Amendment of the Sixth Schedule to the Act) Notice, 2020.
