Both Houses Are Sitting This Week

Both the National Assembly and the Senate sat yesterday, 20th July, and will continue sitting today and tomorrow.  Only small numbers of members will be physically present in the two chambers.  Other MPs will participate virtually.  This bulletin will cover business done yesterday and the agenda for both Houses for the rest of the week.

IT is hereby notified, in terms of section 39(7)(a) of the Electoral Act [Chapter 2:13], that Metrine Mudau, a registered voter in Ward 7 Mtshilashokwe Village, Headman Makhado, Chief Sitauze, Beitbridge Rural District Council, Beitbridge, who was nominated by the Zimbabwe African National Union Patriotic Front (ZANU (PF) )party to fill the vacancy in the National Assembly that occurred following the death of Honourable Lisa Singo, has been appointed as Party-list member of the National Assembly with effect from the date of public

GN 2021-2173 Proclamation 4 of 2021 - Correction of Error

IT is hereby notified that the captioned Proclamation, published in the Gazette Extraordinary as Statutory Instrument 170A of 2021, dated the 16th June, 2021, contained an error. That statutory instrument is corrected in paragraph (d) by the deletion of “five” (5) months and the substitution of “three” (3) months. Statutory Instrument 170A of 2021 is hereby corrected accordingly.
