Ex Officio Commissioners of Oaths: Designation Notice, 1983
THE Minister of Home Affairs hereby, in terms of subsection (2) of section 7 of the Justices of Peace and Commissioners of Oaths Act. 1975, makes the following notice:¾
1. This notice may be cited as the Ex Officio Commissioners of Oaths : Designation Notice, 1983.
2.(1) Any person holding, or lawfully acting in, any office specified in Part I of the First Schedule is, during his tenure thereof or while he is so acting, and except when suspended from exercising the functions thereof, designated a commissioner of oaths for all districts of Zimbabwe.
(2) Any person holding, or lawfully acting in, any office specified in the first column of Part II of the Second Schedule is, during his tenure thereof or while he is so acting, and except when suspended from exercising the functions thereof, designated as a commissioner of oaths for the district or districts specified in the second column of that Part opposite the name of his office.
