JOINT REPORT OF PORTFOLIO COMMITTEE ON ICT, POSTAL
AND COURIER SERVICES AND

HON. GANDAWA: Thank you Madam Speaker. I rise to present the report on Cyber Security and Data Protection Bill [H.B. 18] that was done jointly with the Portfolio Committee of ICT, Postal and Courier Services, Information Media and Broadcasting Service and the Thematic Committee on Peace and Security. The Committees had a meeting with the Ministry to unpack the Bill with the Portfolio Committee members and subsequently did public hearings in various provinces of the country.

Madam Speaker, I will submit input that came from Members of the public and I will also table the observations that were done by the Committee and recommendations. So, I will go clause by clause in terms of the submissions that came from the public when we did our public hearings.
