THE Zimbabwe Electoral Commission has, in terms of section 192(4) of the Zimbabwe Electoral Act [Chapter 2:13], as read with section 277(4) of the Constitution, made the following notice:—

1. This notice may be cited as the Electoral Act (Women’s Quota in Local Authorities Notice, 2023).
2. The Commission has, in the Schedule, calculated the figures representing thirty per centum of the total members of each local authority for the purpose of reserving them for women party-list councillors in accordance with section 277(4) in the Constitution.
