THE public is hereby notified, in terms of section 39(6) of the Electoral Act [Chapter 2:13], that the Zimbabwe African National Union Patriotic Front (ZANU PF) party has nominated Moyo Headman, a registered voter of St George Village, Chief Mabhikwa, Lupane, in Ward 13 of Kusile Rural District Council, to fill a vacancy in the Senate that has occurred following the withdrawal of Honourable Dr. Mpofu Obert who was a member of the Senate for Matabeleland North Province by virtue of section 120(1)(a) of the Constitution.

Any voter wishing to object to the nomination of Moyo Headman may lodge his or her objection(s) in writing with the Chief Elections Officer, Mahachi Quantum Building, corner Kaguvi Street and Jason Moyo Avenue, Harare, or post them to Private Bag 7782, Causeway, within a period of 14 days from the date of publication of this notice, setting forth the reasons for the objection.
