Open Committee Meetings – Monday 23 to Thursday 26 October

Pre-2024 Budget Consultations

National Assembly Portfolio Committees will meet next week on Monday 23rd October [morning and afternoon], Tuesday 24th October [morning only] and Thursday 26th October [morning only].  Morning meetings will start at 10 am and meetings on Monday afternoon at 2 pm.  The meetings will be open to interested members of the public as observers only.  The meetings will be in the old Parliament Building in central Harare – entrance on Kwame Nkrumah Avenue [IDs required for entry].

Purpose of meetings

The meetings will enable committee members to hear submissions from Ministries, Independent Commissions, parastatals and stakeholders on their Budget priorities and the financial resources they need to carry out Government policies for which they are responsible.  The Public Accounts Committee will hear bids and priorities from the Auditor-General’s Office.

How members of the Public Can Participate in

the Pre-2024 Budget Consultations

Parliament encourages members of the public to submit their inputs to the respective Committees via email on the address clerk@parlzim.gov.zw or nyawol@parlzim.gov.zw.
