LEGISLATIVE BILL TRACKER

Our Bill Tracker is a tool that provides insight on the status of Bills as they go through the legislative process in Zimbabwe. A Bill is the draft version of a law or Act. It may be proposing either an entirely new Act, an amendment to an existing Act or repealing an existing ActThe tracker is open to the public and the tracking begins once the Bill is listed in the Legislative Agenda, to when the Bill is assented by the President and gazetted in the government gazette. Our Bill Tracker provides a convenient way to track legislative activity in an organised way as well as providing an easy access to Veritas commentary, Ministerial speeches, and Parliamentary Legal Committee and Parliamentary Portfolio Committee reports. An example of the tracker is as follows: JUDICIAL LAWS AMENDMENT ACT: ACT No. 5 of 2023
