Today, the 27th of May 2025, His Excellency the President, Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa chaired the Fourteenth Cabinet Meeting and the following issues, among others, were considered and approved:

1.0 REPORT ON THE EXTRAORDINARY MEETING OF THE COMMITTEE OF MINISTERS RESPONSIBLE FOR DISASTER RISK MANAGEMENT

Cabinet considered and noted the Report on the Extraordinary Meeting of the Committee of Ministers Responsible for Disaster Risk Management.

The Meeting deliberated on the full operationalisation of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Humanitarian and Emergency Operations Centre domiciled in the Republic of Mozambique which coordinates regional disaster risk preparedness, response and support to Member States affected by disasters.
