Today, the 16th of September 2025, His Excellency, the President Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa chaired the Twenty-Seventh Cabinet Meeting and the following issues among others, were considered and approved:

1.0 THE PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP PROJECT BETWEEN THE ZIMBABWE POWER COMPANY AND JINDAL (PRIVATE) LIMITED FOR THE REHABILITATION, OPERATION AND TRANSFER OF HWANGE POWER STATION UNITS 1 TO 6 AND AUXILIARIES-CONTRACT NEGOTIATION POINTS

Cabinet considered and approved the Public-Private Partnership Project between the Zimbabwe Power Company and Jindal (Private) Limited for the Rehabilitation, Operation and Transfer of Hwange Power Station Units 1 to 6 and Auxiliaries.
