This is an appeal against the decision of the High Court in Case No. HC 4551/07, handed down on 12 December 2012, dismissing an application for default judgment against the respondents.  The latter, having failed to file their plea, were barred in the proceedings before the court a quo.  The appellant’s claim, as amended, was for damages in the sum of US$10,000 for physical and mental pain and US$41,904 for maintenance in respect of her minor child.  Her claim as against all three respondents was dismissed with no order as to costs.
