Hon. Gonese raised a point of order alleging that the meeting of the Parliamentary Legal Committee which decided on the Non Adverse Report on the Local Government Laws Amendment Bill (H. B. 1A, 2016) was unprocedural and the Speaker ruled as follows:

Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe Exchange Control Operational Guidelines - ECOGAD 8-16 and Exchange Control Directive RR 86

1. INTRODUCTION
1.1. Following the Monetary Policy measures announced by the Governor, Dr. J.P. Mangudya on 4 May 2016 to deal with cash shortages whilst simultaneously stabilising and stimulating the economy, Exchange Control is issuing operational modalities outlined in this ECOGAD8/2016 for ease of implementation by Authorised Dealers.
 

Constitution of Lands Compensation Fund

A Fund to be called the Lands Compensation Fund is hereby established in terms of section 18 of the Public Finance Management Act (Chapter 22:79). The purpose of the Fund is to provide resources for the payment of compensation to former farm owners whose farms were acquired by the State under the Land Reform Programme and to enhance productivity on allocated land, The Fund shall be administered by the Secretary responsible for Lands and Rural Resettlement.

Karoi Spring Farm Report

1.         Introduction

1.1 This report contains findings of the Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission (ZHRC), pursuant to an investigation undertaken by the ZHRC into a complaint alleging the violation of human rights of farmworkers at Spring Farm, Hurungwe Central District in the Mashonaland West Province of Zimbabwe.

2014 MICS Key Findings Report

The Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) was carried out in 2014 by the Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency (ZIMSTAT) as part of the global MICS programme. The MICS was designed to collect information on a variety of socio-economic and health indicators required to inform the planning, implementation and monitoring of national policies and programmes for the enhancement of the welfare of women and children.

Report on the First Africa Legislative Summit, 10 - 13 November 2013

The Theme for the First Africa Legislative Summit was Emerging Democracies in Africa: Challenges and Opportunities”. The event was organised by the National Institute for Legislative Studies (NILS) in collaboration with the Association of European Parliamentarians with Africa (AWEPA), Africa Business Round Table and the Parliamentary Centre of Canada.
