National Prosecuting Authority Act, Act 5 2014

AN ACT to establish the National Prosecuting Authority Board and to provide for its functions; to provide for the appointment the National Director of Public Prosecutions; to provide for the administration of the National Prosecuting Authority and the conditions of service of its members; to provide for the transfer of persons from the Civil Service to the National Prosecuting Authority; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.

 

Finance Act, 2014

To make further provision for the revenues and public funds of Zimbabwe and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. ENACTED by Parliament and the President of Zimbabwe. This Act may be cited as the Finance Act, 2014.

Microfinance Act, 2013

To provide for the registration, supervision and regulation of persons conducting microfinance business in Zimbabwe; to amend the Moneylending and Rates of Interest Act [Chapter 14:14] and the Banking Act [Chapter 24:20] (Act No. 9 of 1999); and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing. This Act may be cited as the Microfinance Act [Chapter 24:29].

Shop Licences Act [Chapter 14:17] updated

AN ACT to provide for the control and licensing of certain trades and businesses carried on in shops, stores and other fixed places of business and by means of vending machines; to establish licens- ing authorities and to confer powers and duties thereon; and to provide for matters incidental to or connected with the foregoing. This Act may be cited as the Shop Licences Act [Chapter 14:17].

 

Electoral Act consolidated as at 22 June 2013

Money Laundering and Proceeds of Crime Act, 2013

To suppress the abuse of the financial system and enable the unlawful proceeds of all serious crime and terrorist acts to be identified, traced, frozen, seized and eventually confiscated; to repeal the Serious Offences (Confiscation of Profits) Act [Chapter 9:17]; to amend the Criminal Matters (Mutual Assistance) Act [Chapter 9:06], the Bank Use Promotion and Suppression of Money Laundering Act [Chapter 24:24], the Building Societies Act [Chapter 24:02] and the Asset Management Act [Chapter 24:26] ; and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

War Veterans Act [Chapter 11:15]

AN ACT to provide for the establishment of schemes for the provision of assistance to war veterans and their de-pendants; to provide for the establishment of a fund to finance such assistance; to provide for the constitution and functions of the War Veterans Board; and to provide for matters incidental to or connected with the foregoing.

Ex-Political Detainees & Restrictees Act, 2004

To provide for the establishment of schemes for the provision of assistance to ex-political prisoners, detainees and restrictees and their dependants; to provide for the establishment of a fund to finance such assistance; to provide for the constitution and functions of the Ex-Political Prisoners, Detainees and Restrictees Board; and to provide for matters incidental to or connected with the foregoing.

Sexual Offences Act as at August 2009

 

 

To amend the criminal law in regard to sexual offences; to make further provision for the suppression of brothels and prostitution; to discourage the spread of the human immuno-deficiency virus; to repeal the Criminal Law Amendment Act [Chapter 9:05]; to amend section 51 of the Magistrates Court Act [Chapter 7:10], sections 211 and 247 of the Criminal Procedure and Evidence Act [Chapter 9:07] and section 2 of the Termination of Pregnancy Act [Chapter 15:10]; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.

Defence Act [Chapter 11:02]

AN ACT to consolidate and amend the law relating to the Defence Forces Service Commission and the Defence Council, the establishment, constitution, command, administration, organization, duties, training, co-operation with other Military Forces and discipline of the Defence Forces, the declaration of cantonments and protected areas, the requisitioning of buildings, vehicles and other things for the use of the Defence Forces in certain circumstances, the expropriation of land for defence purposes and the protection of defence stores; to provide for the publication of defence agreements and to create powers in connection with the training of units of the Defence Forces; and to provide for matters incidental to or connected with the foregoing.
