SI 2020-093 Public Health (COVID-19 Prevention, Containment and Treatment) (National Lockdown) (Amendment) Order, 2020 (No. 3)

WHEREAS a State of Disinter in connection with the COVID-19 formidable infectious disease was declared in the 23rd March, 2020, by Statutory Instrument 76 of 2020;
AND WHEREAS the Public Health (COVID-19 Prevention, Containment and Treatment) (National Lockdown) Order, 2020, was published on the 29th March, 2020 in Statutory Instrument 83 of 2020, declaring a national lockdown to contain the spread of the COVID-19 formidable infectious disease with effect

This Order by the Minister of Health and Child Care was published in a Government Gazette Extraordinary on 3rd April. 

It added paragraphs (n) to (u) to the definition of "essential service" in the principal Order published in SI 83/2020.

Chief Justice’s Practice Direction 1 of 2020 on

Court Operations during the 21-day National Shutdown

The Chief Justice yesterday issued the following self-explanatory Practice Direction effective from today, Monday 30th March 2020 and until Sunday 19th April, unless earlier extended.

THE Minister of Health, in terms of section 8(1) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Prevention, Containment and Treatment) Regulations, 2020 (published as Statutory Instrument 77 of 2020), and in consultation with the President, makes the following order:—
